Clara Ballantine BSc(PT) MEd CPHQ
Safety and Improvement Advisor, Ontario Node, SHN
The Ontario Node Safety and Improvement Advisor (SIA), Clara Ballantine will assist your organization in the implementation of any or all of the six Safer Healthcare Now! interventions. With over 13 years in quality improvement, a former Ontario Trailblazer for the Ottawa Hospital, Clara has an in-the-field understanding of implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Doris Doidge RN
Director, Projects, Quality Healthcare Network and SHN
Doris specializes in the analysis of data being submitted to SHN. She is working on a project with the Ontario Health Quality Council to identify best practices in the usage of data. She is also the Project Lead on the Webinar Learning Series recently developed for the Long Term Care sector on Medication Reconciliation.

Ontario Trailblazers
The Ontario Trailblazers is a resource team of quality improvers dedicated to helping Ontario teams get started and supporting the Safer Healthcare Now! campaign throughout Ontario. Over the past two years, twenty-eight Trailblazers have helped aid the work of over 339 clinical teams.
Trailblazers have an advanced level of skills to help build quality improvement and safety knowledge within their organizations and across the province. The Trailblazers support Ontario healthcare organizations in implementing the ten Safer Healthcare Now! interventions, addressing measurement problems, improving performance and sharing best practice with other healthcare providers.
