SHN ONTARIO NODE E-UPDATE - April, 2008 CAMPAIGN UPDATE Exciting News! Safer Healthcare Now! is expanding Interim results show that the implementation of the six healthcare interventions, the pillars of the campaign, can reduce injuries or deaths related to preventable adverse events. The initial six acute-care interventions will continue. Earlier this month, four new interventions to improve patient safety were launched at a national conference in Winnipeg, to kick start Phase II of the Safer Healthcare Now! campaign. Presentations from the national conference are now available at www.saferhealthcarenow.ca. From the home page, click on "National Learning Series V Presentations" on the right side of your screen. The four new interventions include:
To join one of the four new Phase II interventions, you will need to update your organization's enrollment in the campaign, Visit www.saferhealthcarenow.ca, click on "Sign Up". If you are currently enrolled in Phase I of the campaign, go to "Current Enrollees" and click "Login". You will be required to key in your email address and password.
